RE: water line busted
Thanks for the info. Never thought about the local ACE. I just assumed it was a camper part only, so to speak.
I'll be working on it.
Thanks again.
water line busted
I have a water line problem that I have narrowed down to the fixture where the bypass valve is at the water heater. It seams it has cracked, and of course water just pours from it. I'm sure you can, but should any camper store parts counter have that piece ? 3 inlets/outlets I think, along with the bypass "handle" ?
Thanks for the help.
RE: Towing with 4.0 litre jeep grand cherokee
Doug1,
I have the setup in my sig. I live in Southwest Virginia, right on the VA/WV border. I have had no problems towing with my WJ. That being said, I have always stayed close to home with my furthest trip being just under an hour. But with the mountains that I have pulled, my Jeep did great. Right at the moment, I dont remember the weight of my Terry, but I always tow with 90% or so of my gear.
Always pull out in first gear, keep the overdrive off, get a good tranny cooler, and brake controller. I'm definately no veteran when it comes to towing, but this has just been my .02 worth !
Happy Camping !!!

RE: fridge on during trip ?
Ok, educate me ... I might have missed something along the way.
Are tunnels an issue ? I wont have any this trip, but usually do when I go south.
Let me know please.
Thanks,

fridge on during trip ?
Hey ya'll ... havent posted in a while, but read daily and always look at the pics.
Getting ready for the 1st trip of the year... pulling out next Tuesday after work. Just bout 30 minutes from here at CampCreek State Park. Gonna stay close this season probably... gas and all.
Anyway, my question is ... is it ok to travel with the fridge on using propane ? ... is it even possible ? Just wanted to get a headstart on a cold one after setup.
Anyway, thanks for the help in advance.
